Herr Hoyem hat Geburtstag
10. October 2007

Mr. Hoyem celebrated his birthday today with all the children from school and members of staff. We were all handed out the traditional apple.

On thursday our ESKADO choir sang some special songs for Mr Hoyem and Mrs. Pavlicikova.

We provide mother-tongue education—in different language sections—from Kindergarten up to Baccalaureate level (university entrance) for around 1000 pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. Currently 16 languages are taught in the school, and 49 different nationalities are represented. The European Baccalaureate, awarded ONLY by the European Schools, is recognised as a qualification for university entrance by all member states of the European Union and by other countries including the USA.
