Ein Lehrer für Burundi

Well done to everybody who took part in the sponsored run on Friday 22 June 2007 to raise money to support a teacher in Burundi. Keep an eye on this page and you will see how much money comes in from the run. We hope to raise more than one thousand euros for a very good cause.

The amount raised in our fund-raising events now includes the money from the school's recent chamber concert and the activities at the Sommerfest.

We provide mother-tongue education—in different language sections—from Kindergarten up to Baccalaureate level (university entrance) for around 1000 pupils from a wide variety of backgrounds. Currently 16 languages are taught in the school, and 49 different nationalities are represented. The European Baccalaureate, awarded ONLY by the European Schools, is recognised as a qualification for university entrance by all member states of the European Union and by other countries including the USA.
